Founded in Kyiv in 2010, Uklon started as a ride-hailing platform and has evolved into a multi-service digital ecosystem integrating ride-hailing, Uklon Delivery, Uklon Ads, and the Uklon Travel bus ticket booking service.
As of April 2026, the Uklon service is available in 27 cities across Ukraine and at the Bukovel tourist complex. The company also operates in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Join us as a Middle Android Engineer to work with the Delivery direction.
In this role, you will help gain a deeper understanding of the Uklon driver journey, from registration to the first ride and beyond: analyzing the activation funnel, investigating churn drivers, identifying early churn signals, and delivering data-driven recommendations to increase retention and improve the effectiveness of the loyalty program in Ukraine and expansion markets. This is a role with real impact on the product and key business metrics.

How exactly you can influence the developmentof the Company:

● Development of new features and support of existing Delivery product solutions within the Driver and Rider applications● Analysis of production incidents and identification of effective solutions● Conducting Code Reviews● Participation in discussions and planning of upcoming tasks● Maintaining high-quality Git and Jira history

Challenges for three months:

● Onboarding with the team● Participating in the estimation and implementation of functional requirements● Familiarization with the project structure● Gaining an understanding of the project business logic● Learning the company approaches to software design and code development● Identifying bottlenecks and finding ways to optimize them● Mastering the company toolset (CI/CD, AI tools, Code Management tools, etc.)

To achieve the results, you will need:

● 3+ years of experience in Kotlin development● 2+ years of hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose● Strong understanding and practical application of OOP and SOLID principles● Solid knowledge of Java Core: core concepts, collections, concurrency, and networking● Strong expertise with the Android Framework: Core Android API, UI, Android Jetpack, threading model, and popular third-party libraries● Experience with Gradle and Coroutines● Experience with test coverage implementation (JUnit, Spek)● Strong understanding and practical use of MV* architectural patterns● Intermediate English level
