Founded in Kyiv in 2010, Uklon started as a ride-hailing platform and has evolved into a multi-service digital ecosystem integrating ride-hailing, Uklon Delivery, Uklon Ads, and the Uklon Travel bus ticket booking service.

How exactly you can influence the developmentof the Company:

● developing and supporting existing and new functionality● taking responsibility for technical decisions and the final result at all stages of development● analyzing root causes and finding solutions for production incidents● participating in team code reviews● directly influencing team metrics● participating in discussions and estimation of upcoming tasks, their decomposition● contributing to and influencing technical innovations● sharing expertise and, when needed, mentoring teammates● maintaining high-quality Git history practices and keeping Jira tasks up to date

Challenges for three months:

● integrating into the team● mastering the Company’s approaches to software design and coding● developing new functionality within expected timelines● participating in refining functional/non-functional requirements within initiatives● participating in code reviews within the team● meeting estimates and minimizing bugs through high-quality analysis

To achieve the results, you will need:

● at least 5 years of Kotlin development experience● at least 2 years of experience working with Jetpack Compose● at least 3 years of experience using Coroutines● a strong understanding and practical application of OOP, SOLID, and Clean Architecture principles● strong knowledge of Java Core (core, collections, concurrency, networking)● a deep understanding of the Android Framework: Core Android API, UI, Android Jetpack, threading model, and popular third-party libraries● experience in covering functionality with tests (JUnit, Spek)● a strong understanding and practical application of MV* patterns● experience in working with TCP sockets, REST, Protobuf, Firebase, Figma, Kodein, Retrofit, and OkHttp● experience in using Gradle and RxJava● experience in using and implementing AI solutions● English proficiency at Intermediate level
