Founded in Kyiv in 2010, Uklon started as a ride-hailing platform and has evolved into a multi-service digital ecosystem integrating ride-hailing, Uklon Delivery, Uklon Ads, and the Uklon Travel bus ticket booking service.

How exactly you can influence the developmentof the Company:

● building and implementing the operational strategy for the courier function● building and scaling the courier fleet mix (car/motorcycle/bicycle/pedestrian couriers)● planning and launching courier operations in target cities● monitoring and improving key operational fleet metrics● cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Legal, etc.● managing the courier operations budget (planning, cost control, evaluation of spending efficiency)● defining product and operational requirements needed to execute the direction’s strategy

Challenges for six months:

● understand business goals, product, market, and customer segments: conduct meetings with key stakeholders. To collect input on business objectives, customers, competitive landscape, product roadmap, and current constraints● conduct an audit of the current Courier Operations state: processes, team, structure, operational metrics, budget, cross-functional collaboration, bottlenecks, and scalability constraints● define a 3-month vision for the direction’s development, including focus areas and priorities● based on the audit, implement a target operating model for the function● introduce processes for monitoring, forecasting, and improving key operational metrics● design and implement a courier lifecycle management strategy● establish systematic and effective budget management for the function● develop a long-term strategy for the direction aligned with business goals and objectives

To achieve the results, you will need:

● at least 5 years of experience in delivery operations● at least 3 years of experience managing and scaling delivery operations in HoReCa/E-com/Retail● understanding of the full courier fleet lifecycle (from acquisition to churn management)● experience in building and/or scaling operational models (city launches, new business lines, etc.)● experience in managing and improving fleet operational metrics● strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach● understanding of unit economics and budget management principles● experience in working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Legal● solid understanding of the delivery market and urban logistics
