Founded in Kyiv in 2010, Uklon started as a ride-hailing platform and has evolved into a multi-service digital ecosystem integrating ride-hailing, Uklon Delivery, Uklon Ads, and the Uklon Travel bus ticket booking service.
As of April 2026, the Uklon service is available in 27 cities across Ukraine and at the Bukovel tourist complex. The company also operates in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

How exactly you can influence the developmentof the Company:

● design, develop, and maintain Node.js services from scratch● contribute to improving the team's engineering practices and development processes● collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and build a strong understanding of the business domain● participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality● analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions● develop and maintain unit, component, and integration tests● share knowledge, support teammates, and provide mentorship when needed● follow Git best practices and ensure Jira tasks are kept up to date

Challenges for three months:

● become familiar with the company's architecture, engineering standards, and development guidelines● contribute to the development and maintenance of existing Node.js services● write and maintain automated tests● learn the existing business logic and implement new features● gain proficiency in the company's software design principles and coding practices● deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines

To achieve the results, you will need:

● 5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js● strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis● hands-on experience with event-driven systems and microservices architecture (e.g., Kafka, Message Bus)● experience working with Docker● solid understanding and practical application of OOP and SOLID principles● understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles● good understanding of RESTful API design principles● experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, component, integration, end-to-end, etc.)● experience with monitoring and observability tools, including structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing● practical experience using AI-powered development tools and techniques (e.g., Context Engineering, tokenization, MCP, CLI integrations, security awareness, and RAG)● product mindset with a solid understanding of modern product development practices● English proficiency at the Intermediate level or higher
