How exactly you can influence the developmentof the Company:

Tax Strategy & Structuring● develop and maintain the Group’s tax strategy in line with business goals, corporate structure, and international expansion plans● advise the CFO and senior leadership on tax implications of strategic initiatives, new markets, new products, corporate transactions, and operating models● support tax structuring for the Group, including intercompany arrangements, cross-border flows, transfer pricing, and operating company setup● identify tax optimization opportunities while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations● assess tax risks related to new business initiatives and propose practical mitigation optionsTax Compliance & Reporting● ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and filing across relevant jurisdictions● coordinate preparation and submission of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, payroll-related tax, and other applicable tax returns● monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the Group’s operations● maintain proper documentation to support tax positions, intercompany transactions, and regulatory requirements● ensure readiness for tax audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries
International Tax & Transfer Pricing● manage transfer pricing policies, documentation, and intercompany agreements● support the development of tax-efficient and compliant models for international operations● work with external advisors in foreign jurisdictions to ensure local tax compliance and proper structuring● assess permanent establishment, withholding tax, VAT/GST, and substance-related risks in new and existing markets
Business Partnership● act as the key tax advisor to Finance, Legal, Product, Operations, and Business Development teams● provide tax input for contracts, partnerships, vendor/client models, market launches, and new revenue streams● translate complex tax matters into clear business recommendations● build internal processes that allow the business to receive timely tax advice without slowing down execution
Processes, Controls & External Advisors● design and improve internal tax processes, controls, calendars, and documentation workflows● manage cooperation with external tax consultants, auditors, and legal advisors● own tax audit preparation and communication with tax authorities, where applicable● establish scalable tax policies and procedures for the Group● support finance transformation initiatives, automation, and reporting improvements from a tax perspective

Challenges for six months:

Overall Objective
Built a clear understanding of the Group’s business, tax risk profile, reporting processes, tax operating model, and propose practical improvements to support compliance, tax efficiency, and international growth

Key Goals
● build understanding of the business and finance/tax processes
Develop a clear understanding of the Group’s business model, revenue streams, corporate structure, operating countries, finance processes, and key internal stakeholders
● assess Group tax risks
Review the current tax position of the Group, including corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, permanent establishment, substance, intercompany arrangements, and tax compliance risks
● propose tax risk mitigation and optimization actions
Prepare practical recommendations to reduce key tax risks, improve tax efficiency, and support business development, new product launches, and expansion into new countries
● standardize and automate tax reporting processes
Review current tax reporting and compliance workflows, identify manual work and control gaps, and propose standardization, automation, templates, calendars, and reporting improvements
● define tax operating model and compliance ownership
Establish a clear tax compliance calendar, ownership matrix, escalation process, and cooperation model with Finance, Legal, external advisors, and local teams across relevant jurisdictions

Success Indicators
By the end of probation, Tax Manager should provide:
● clear understanding of the Group’s tax profile and key business drivers● updated tax risk assessment● prioritized tax risk mitigation and optimization plan● improved tax reporting / compliance process proposal● tax compliance calendar and ownership model aligned with the CFO

To achieve the results, you will need:

● 7+ years of relevant tax experience, ideally in a fast-growing company, international group, Big4, consulting, or a combination of corporate and advisory roles● strong knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and international tax principles● experience with tax structuring, cross-border transactions, intercompany arrangements, and tax risk assessment● hands-on experience with tax compliance, reporting, audits, and communication with tax authorities● experience working with external advisors across multiple jurisdictions● ability to operate independently as a senior individual contributor with high ownership● English- Advanced
