How exactly you can influence the developmentof the Company:

1) Accounting and tax accounting• being fully responsible for maintaining accounting and tax accounting for 2-3 legal entities in Ukraine• controlling the correctness of transaction recognition, tax implications, and ensuring compliance with legislation• managing month-end and year-end close• preparing mandatory tax reporting and interacting with tax authorities
2) IFRS and interaction with the group/auditors• transforming data into IFRS reporting, preparing notes and analytical files• supporting the audit process, preparing documentation, responses, and calculations• interacting with the financial team of the parent company (Kyivstar/VEON) regarding group policies, deadlines, disclosure packages
3) Processes and automation• updating and optimizing financial and accounting processes and document flow• implementing automation (ERP, additional modules, etc.)• controlling data quality and developing internal policies and procedures
4) Team management• building a strong, resilient, and effective accounting team (up to 20 persons)• defining areas of responsibility, role structures, creating backup functions
5) Interaction with the business• cooperating with the CFO, Legal, Procurement, Product/Ops, HR departments• supporting business decisions: providing consulting, assessing tax implications, participating in business model changes

Challenges for six months:

● assessing and updating key accounting processes - conducting an audit of existing processes and preparing an optimization/automation plan● establishing timely month-end close - achieving target deadlines and adopting and standardizing procedures● taking over team management - conducting competency assessment, identifying development areas, optimizing the structure● building effective interaction with the parent company (Kyivstar), including IFRS transformation processes, completing the first cycle of group requirements without errors● initiating 1-2 automation projects - launching the implementation or improvement of ERP/integrations or documentation/approval workflows● forming a system of controls and risks - reviewing critical tax positions and preparing a risk map for the management

To achieve the results, you will need:

● at least 7-10 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3-5 years in a managerial role (Head/Chief Accountant/Accounting Lead)● experience in full-scope accounting and tax accounting for several companies, preferably in IT, digital services, e-commerce, or product/service businesses with significant transactional flows● experience in effectively managing a team of 10-20 persons (setting KPIs, developing, delegating, controlling)● experience in working in a company with scalable operational processes and complex tax models● practical experience in preparing, transforming, and interacting under IFRS● experience in undergoing Big4 or other international audits● experience in implementing or significantly improving processes, including automation and digitalization (ERP, integrations, workflows, internal approval processes)● experience in working with large data sets, financial systems, ERP/accounting systems● strong understanding of Ukrainian tax legislation, including transactions with non-residents, services/royalties, VAT● excellent knowledge of NA(P)S, IFRS, accounting principles● ability to work in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment● systems thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions● high self-organization and ability to work with top management/international teams

How do you manage your working hours?

● Flexible schedule with required collaboration hours from 11:00 to 16:00● Days off with full compensation: 20 for personal needs, 10 for illness, 1 more on a birthday occasion (a gift from the company), up to 8 for blood donation
